World Peace Exchange's
mission is to help create world peace by providing opportunities for
people of different genders, races, religions, ethnicities, and
nationalities to learn to think critically and creatively, to
employ emotional wisdom, and to foster positive change in their
communities and communities around the world.
To accomplish its mission…
World Peace Exchange international student
exchange program brings high school students from around the
world to participate in one year academic high school home stays
with North American host families.
With World Peace Exchange students staying with
American host families are provided opportunities for to travel
to various parts of the United States to experience its rich and
varied cultural background. From trips to Hawaii and Disneyland,
excursions to National Parks like Yosemite and Yellowstone and
inner city cultural explorations of ethnic areas like Chinatown
in San Francisco and The Barrio in Los Angeles to educational
ventures to the La Brea Tar Pits, The Getty Museum and
Berkeley's famous Lawrence Hall of Science
